The Classic Margarita Recipe
The is probably one of the best tasting and simplest margarita recipes. This is a “classic” because of it’s popularity in the tequila region of México. Most people are more familiar with the name “skinny margarita”. However we feel that name is a dilution to how a real margarita should be made. This classic should be simple and without using an overly sweet triple sec or other heavy sugary mix which in turn gives a terrible hangover and will boost your calorie count.
How simple is it you ask… Well, you only need 4 ingredients. Water, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave Nectar and of course Tequila. Adding water seems weird but it cuts down the lime juice and agave nectar. Honestly this recipe is our go to drink of choice. If you want to be a little more adventurous you can make it spicy by muddling a couple slices of your favorite pepper like a jalapeño, serrano or even a tablespoon of hot sauce like Mago.

Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for atleast 10 seconds. And… that’s it, pour( we like to double strain) into desired cocktail glass with ice. Serve, relax and enjoy! Cheers
